Meet our teachers

My name is Donna and I'm so glad you're here!  I am a trauma informed, certified yoga teacher (CYT500); along with being a householder, a mother, a wife, an adventurer, and a servant to the Infinite.  I adore family, friends, travel, nature, animals, and connecting with others.

I have been experiencing and studying yoga since 2006, both in studios, throughout the world, and privately within my home.   I have come to recognize the gifts, gems and presence associated with having a personal, home practice -  a sadhana.

I am excited and passionate about sharing these life-changing, self-care practices with you from a trauma informed lens.  I believe, when we "show up" for ourselves, we automatically give others permission to do the same thing.  Allowing us to “Be The Change” we wish to see in our world; as we truly are all one.   I look forward to working with you to create the changes you wish to see, feel and experience too. -  With love and hugs, Donna

Cathy Olson of Yoga by Pinot is a passionate yoga instructor.

 

Her classes are a combination of Kundalini yoga and Yin yoga.  Her practices often include elements of meditation and chanting.

 

Cathy is known for her attention to detail and her
ability to make yoga accessible to beginners. Cathy is a registered member with Yoga Alliance and holds yoga teacher training certifications in both Vinyasa (RYT-200) and Kundalini (RYT-500).

Marjorie is a passionate lifelong learner, an artist and a poet, seeking to make meaning through self-inquiry out of the universal experiences that connect all beings. She considers it her Dharma to share her creativity, passion, and desire for harmonious existence through her art and writing, and to inspire others to open up to and own their unique powers through the transformative healing of her spiritual and yogic practices. Her aim is to guide with compassion, sensitivity, and inclusivity.

 

Marjorie is a certified Hatha and Kundalini yoga teacher whose spiritual journey began in earnest following a life-altering medical experience. Inspired by the healing effects of her at-home yoga practice, she enrolled in an intensive Hatha teacher training immersion course at a Sivananda ashram, which transformed her approach to living, sending her down the proverbial rabbit hole. During the pandemic, she fell in love with Kundalini Yoga through a virtual retreat. As she began to incorporate Kriya Yoga and chanting and meditation into her daily sadhana, further teacher training beckoned, leading to certifications in Kundalini Ayurveda/Enneagram/Lunar Wisdom, Kundalini Rebirthing and Prenatal instruction, as well as certificates in Chair Yoga, Kundalini Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Qigong. In addition, she is certified in Vocal Sound Healing (level 1) and is a blossoming Kirtan Leader on the harmonium.

Debra is a life-long learner and passionate about exploring the connection to Nature, plant medicine, and movement as a pathway to healing and vitality.  

She combines her background in education, Shake Your Soul YogaDance, Positive Psychology and Strengths-based Life Coaching along with her 500 hr. Kundalini Yoga certification to offer individual and group classes/retreats that are trauma informed to help people connect with the healing wisdom of their bodies and intuition.

Through meditation, breath, chanting, yoga and free form dance, Debra creates a safe space that invites participants to discover and dance with their inner radiant essence.  Debra also employs the art of Divination as a portal for inquiry and inspiration for her students, as well as a focus on the Moon Archetypes as a way of understanding the rhythms and seasons of our lives.
